TURBINIA TAKE POINTS IN LOCAL DERBY
Newton Aycliffe Turbinia took 3 points from neighbours North Briton on a weekend that saw another famous derby being played elsewhere in the region, Turbinia looked in control for most of the game and came out on top with goals from Paul Barnes 2,Alan Gasgarth, Anth Harrison and kyle Allen making it 5-0 to the home side. Masons maintain there unbeaten run with a 4-3 win against new side Ferryhill WMC to keep them joint top of the league with Half Moon, who beat Cricket club 5-0 keeping them bottom of the pile with Cumberland who were beaten 4-0 by Voltigeur. Elsewhere Tudhoe lost 3-0 at home to Jubilee, Shildon Ath were beaten 3-4 by Salvins and British Legion lost 7-1 against another of the new sides Shildon BR.
