Hunwick Joiners finally got one over on their rivals Thorns with a 2-0 win in the B&A Trophy.
Hunwick – who were pipped to the league championship and the Division One Cup by Thorns – took the lead through James Melville, mid-way through the second half after a goalless first 45 minutes at the Coxhoe Athletic football ground.
Lee Genner then doubled their lead ten minutes later, and effectively bagged Hunwick the cup in a tight game.
