Paul Stevens Trophy is drawn

TEN clubs have been drawn in this season’s Paul Stevens Memorial Trophy.
Due to the hectic fixture backlog for most clubs this season, most clubs were not able to commit to the invitation-option trophy this season.
But Division One heavyweights Lakeside and Old Shildon have drawn each other in the opening stages of the competition.
In the first round, Division Two side Ash Tree will take on Division One club Bay Horse on Tuesday 9th May, while Shildon Athletic will play Green Tree – the winners of those games will face each other in the second round.
Meanwhile, the other second round ties consist of Belvedere v George & Dragon, Lakeside v Old Shildon and Horndale Celtic v Southerne Club.
The semi-finals are due to be played on Tuesday 16th May and a provisional date of Friday 26th May has been set for the final, venue to be confirmed.
