League gears up for finals
THE league is bracing itself for some cracking cup finals over the next three weeks.
They have once again chosen Coxhoe as their final venue, and six finals kick-off this Friday with the Division Three Cup Final between Shildon Fox and Hounds and Aycliffe Village.
That’s followed by the Kelvin McIntosh Division Two Cup Final between New Brancepeth and Browney on Sunday, then the Division One Cup Final between North Briton and Quinns on Friday May 4.
The J&A Trophy Final – between Masons Arms and Tudhoe United – will then be played on Sunday May 6 followed by the Paul Stevens Final on Frida May 18. The league’s showpiece – the League Cup Final – between Castle and Old Shildon, will be played on Sunday May 20.
