FIRST AID FIRST CLASS FOR LEAGUE Jackson Anderson Accountants Spennymoor Sunday League THE Spennymoor Sunday League is continuing to lead by example with their forward-thinking First Aid initiative. As an incentive to its members, the league enlisted the help of Durham FA to deliver a string of First Aid coaching courses as part of the FA’s Development Programme. In a bid to improve First Aid standards in ensuring every club has at least one qualified ‘First Aider’, the league has paid for the Emergency First Aid courses on behalf of all 28 clubs. And now, with the help of the league’s principal sponsor Jackson Anderson Accountants, the league has invested in brand new first aid kit bags for all clubs for the start of the 2005-06 season – which starts this weekend. “This further enhances our commitment to maintaining our high standards throughout the league,” said the league’s Treasurer Gary Livett. “It’s another fantastic gesture from our sponsors and an ideal opportunity to provide all our clubs with top-quality first aid kit bags.” The league and all its members are grateful to the leading Spennymoor-based accountancy firm for their continued support. “They recognise what we’re trying to achieve at grass roots level of football,” added Livett. “This is a unique scheme and Jackson Anderson Accountants were naturally more than happy to sponsor it.”
