Tough Cup draw for Thorns
CHAMPIONS-ELECT Spennymoor Thorns have drawn Tudhoe United in the second round of the B&A Trophy.
Thorns were beaten 2-0 in last year’s B&A Final by Hunwick, but the holders were knocked out in the first round by Division Two side Quinns.
And the title-chasers, who were actually beaten by the Bay Horse in the first round, only for the Horse to be later disqualified from the competition, make up arguably the toughest tie of the second round.
