Fox make it four
Division Three round-up

FOX AND HOUNDS maintained their promotion drive with a 3-0 win at home to EBAC.

Andrew Williams opened the scoring after 20 minutes, and Mark Surtees doubled the Fox’s lead five minutes later.

Stuart Rand made sure of the spoils with a third goal midway through the second half to complete the win.

“It was a very good performance by the lads,” said Fox boss Jeff Spooner. “It’s been a great start to the season for us, and our ultimate goal now has to be to win promotion.”

Meanwhile, Masons United drew 3-3 at home to the Navy Club with goals by Chris Larkman (2) and Craig Taylor. Lee Graver (2) and Wayne Pratt scored for the Navy.

Castle won 8-1 at home to the Southerne Club thanks to a hat-trick by Paul Thompson. Mark Gibbons (2), Daniel Pattinson, Graham Jardine and John Cunningham also scored. Southerne’s goal was an OG.

Bishop Masons won 7-3 at Horndale Celtic with goals by Simon Hodgson (3), Scott Bolton, David Bowes, Tristan Delf and Matthew Saunders. Trevor Dixon, Dave Hughes and Stephen Watson scored for Horndale.
