BROWNEY clinched the Division Two league title with a final-day win at New Brancepeth.
The league-leaders only needed a point to secure their title.
Despite Brancepeth taking the lead, Browney bounced back with goals by John Kidd (3), Karl Turner (2) and Stephen Wallace.
Victorious boss Gerard Crooks said: “We only needed a point and we’d been wel up for the game for a good few weeks.
“It was a good, hard-fought match and although the scoreline looks like it was easy, it wasn’t – it was a tough old game! We’re just delighted to have got the result and to have won the title.
“We were relegated by default last season, we’d seen off relegation and then due to the restructuring of the league we had to go down.
“But Hogans came down with us and they have struggled this year so it’s pleasing to bounce back up at the first attempt.”
Philip Wilkinson and Craig Hindmarch scored Brancepeth’s goals.
Elsewhere in Division Two last week, Mark Smith, Matthew Carrick and a Michael Walker own goal were all on target for Green Tree as they drew 3-3 at Belvedere.
